Meet Lupine Artisan Heather Roselle Barter
Heather graduated from the University of Maine with a BA in Art Education in 2013 and attended MECA's Early College program as a seventeen-year-old. Both programs helped to refine her technical skills, and she found much inspiration in her Art History classes when studying American landscape traditions and the European Expressionists. Heather Roselle Barter’s work is an exploration of all seasons and all landscapes in Maine. She draws from the unique convergence of land and sea that Maine has to offer, and from the hidden colors of the landscape. Heather looks for artful compositions in unexpected places across this exquisite state. Heather’s paintings have won awards in art exhibitions across Maine.
