Candy has lived in Aroostook County up in Northern Maine for 45 years and began painting on drift wood and dri ki  for a craft shop in Houlton in 1975. She uses  acrylics paints on the wood and craft items she creates.  Candy is a retired art teacher who lives with her husband, Don, overlooking Mt Katahdin, Maine!
