I am a kiln fire glass artist. This means I use a glass kiln oven that will fire as high as 1800 degrees Fahrenheit, which also is called WARM GLASS ART. I can fire glass at lower temperatures and (cook) fuse it longer in the kiln to get a nice finish design. I rarely use 1800 degrees unless I want to melt the glass into a liquid state .
